Nassau Tackle Company, Inc. was purchased.  The principal customer of this corporation was the Sears Roebuck Company.

Sampo, Inc., a California company devoted to producing ball bearing fishingswivels, was acquired.  After the acquisition, Sampo, Inc. relocated to Barneveld, NY.
