Maintenance Machinist
Must be very experienced with:
- Tool and Die making equipment including digital & standard mills, surface grinder and metal lathes.
- Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting to determine repair needed, make parts, install parts, and return machine to operation.
- Motors & Electrical systems
- Air & pneumatic systems
- Knowledge of tool steel & heat treating
- Ability to work on machines with tight tolerances of as little as .001 to .003.
- 4-Slide & 6-Slide production machines, coining machines, and presses
- Programming for CNC wire forming machines
Qualifications:

· Welding experience is a plus

Tool and Die Maker
Responsibilities Include:
- CNC Wire forming machine programming
- Operate and maintain production machines. Machines make small parts with precision requirements in the range of .001 to .003 inches
- 4 and 6 slide machine tooling, coining machines, punch presses, and spring forming machines.
- Make and repair tooling on production machines in our fully equipped machine shop. Shop includes standard mills, a CNC mill, metal lathes, surface grinders, and an EDM machine.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a mechanic/machinist and machine operator
- Advanced problem solving skills
- Tool & Die and metal parts fabrication
- Welding experience a plus
- Experience with electrical systems and motors
- Knowledge of tool steel types, uses, and hardening
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- References required

SAW OPERATOR
This position requires very clear attention to detail. It is the first step in our manufacturing process and any mistake here can interrupt the whole process.
- Operator is responsible for cutting brass tubes to within +- .005 of specifications for use as swivel bodies and sleeves. The inside and outside diameter must meet exact specifications. The cut must be clean and burr free.
- Experience with a micrometer and calipers is required.
- Operator must maintain saws and saw blades by keeping blades sharp and creating new blades using the blade sharpening machines.
- Operator is responsible for maintaining the proper function of the saws and blade sharpeners by keeping them clean (from brass dust and excess oil), oiled, and the saw turret spinning freely. The entire workstation must remain clean and free from brass dust and other debris.
- Operator is responsible for keeping track of the brass tube inventory, cut and uncut.
- Light janitorial work and general building maintenance (grass mowing, snow removal, etc.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout your shift.
